Strengthening Networking of Youths Club Supported by Ministry of Youth and Sports
Youths are the future of the nation. It is the proper time to build their future as assets which will contribute to develop the country. Considering the real fact Government of Bangladesh has taken different types of initiatives positively for youth’s development. GOB has initiated many types of interventions for skill and capacity building of the youth’s so that they can engage themselves with IGA for self reliability. Strengthening Networking of Youths Club is a type of project of DYD/GOB. SDA is a local implementing partner in Kalapara Upazila under Patuakhali district of this project supported by DYD/GOB. Objective of the project is to unite and organize the youths of the area for strengthening their skill and capacity for successful operation of their IGA.
Achievement of the Project:
In this year 12 batches of skill development training has been completed. 360 young male female actively took part in these sessions and completed the courses respectively. Out of 360, there are 102 female and 258 are male participants. Participants are very happy to get the opportunity free of cost to develop their capacity so that they can engage themselves with IGA as a skilled entrepreneur. Two types of training have been organized such as: Poultry rearing and Fish and aquaculture. SDA organized these training courses and the officials of DLS and DOF have been facilitated the courses as resource persons.
